GIVEAWAY WINNER SELECTION PROCESS…

Users must enter an email address or other online profile ID (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to post a comment to our blog. The blog comments, along with their corresponding contact information (email address, Facebook or Twitter ID, etc.), are listed in our content management system by chronological order of entry.

When it’s time to select a winner, we tally the total number of entries and, using the True Random Number Generator tool at www.random.org, we generate a random number between 1 and the total number of giveaway entries. For example, if there are 245 total entries, the random number generator picks a number between 1 and 245.

The number generated by the random number generator is the winning entry — so if, for example, the random number generator selects the number 125, the winner is the user who posted the 125th blog entry.

We then contact the author of the winning post, and ask them for their full name and mailing address so we can fulfill the prize.

Prize winners will have 24 hours to respond to first contact before the winner process is reinitiated and a new winner is chosen.
